Dread is bad for your creative process. So is guilt, shame, and debt. You should do whatever it takes to reduce the amount of dread you feel about doing your creative work.

That might look like lowering your expectations. It might look like decreasing the amount of time in between creative sessions. It might look like forgiving a bad coach or teacher from your past.
