Respect the resistance

This is the magic of the Creative Consistency Challenge. Maintaining a high-frequency connection to the work requires we stay within close range. When we separate ourselves from the work willingly, even by just a day or two, that connection gets fuzzy fast. 

Pressfield explains when we give the resistance a foothold with a simple excuse today, it’ll turn around and take twice as much tomorrow. This is why he says the professional “respects the resistance.” Those of us who have been in the game long enough know how strong the resistance really is. We know we can’t give it an inch.
