The most money you could make
If your business becomes famous tomorrow, and clients are kicking in your door to work with you, what is the most amount of money you could make with your current model? This is a good exercise, because it can reveal a big gap between our daydreams and our systems.
What’s your most expensive offer? How many of those could you render each month? What kind of team support do you have? What are your team’s limitations? At what point would you have to turn away work? What are the market limitations to the services you offer?
For example, if you have some vague notion of generating a million dollars in revenue, but your highest offer is only $15,000, and you can only deliver two of those per month, your revenue ceiling is actually much lower; closer to $350,000.
It’s unlikely you’ll stumble into an extremely profitable, multi-million-dollar business. It’s much more likely you’ll slowly grow into those capabilities with a clear plan of how to get there.
Why not pencil one out today?
