Tough questions

As I’m writing my second book, I’ve also been creating a book proposal to query literary agents, who can help me get published. This will get my work out to more people. (Don’t worry, if there are no takers, I’ll still self-publish and get the book out to you eventually).

This process has really helped me zero-in on my target audience, and define, in painstaking detail, how this book will help them. It’s hard work, but it helps the writing be better, too.

This reminded me of a free product I’ve benefitted greatly from in the past. Donald Miller’s Product Brief Template asks you the hard questions that frankly aren’t fun to slog through while you’re in the dreaming phase—but these questions will save you hundreds of wasted hours and wasted dollars. Go download it for your next product launch.
