Big brands don’t want cheap work
Big brands don’t want cheap work.
They want to pay more for better work. They want to pay more for fast work, clearly communicated work, and work that makes them look good to their bosses.
Cheap work doesn’t usually deliver on time, respond quickly, or have great ideas. Expensive work does those things.
There are countless creatives brooding over the fact that they could have made a commercial, design, song, or music video for cheaper. They waste time feeling indignant, wondering when they’ll get noticed, unaware of the fact that big brands don’t want cheap work.
Meanwhile, there are a few creatives who take it upon themselves to learn how to look their clients in the eye with a straight face, name a high price, and then deliver on it.
Which one are you?
P.S. If you want to take the first step, join my free live stream where I’ll be breaking down a $75k music video budget. It’s on June 12th at 10:00am PT. I’d love to see you there.
